[_x] Heavy creamed color hooves pounded steadily against the sand of his new home. His blue orbs scanned the area, no one was in sight. A perfect place for him. His golden body shimmering in the after noon sun. His body was built with muscles, even if it may look like fat it wasn't. His legs where long but stocky and his face is a square shape. Pushing his shoulders back he sweep past the water with swift speed. His mind drifting back and forth from his memory's to his reality. He could still smell the scent of blood, the reality hit him with such force, it made him stumbled to a stop. He couldn't- no wouldn't allow his children (if he where to have some) live in that kind of fear, wondering if any horse could be trusted. He just hoped his children wouldn't inheritate the fear he carried around like a big luggage strapped to his back. He wasn't a pack horse but he never could get rid of the weight.
[_x] Grunting he gave a stern look towards the water coming towards him. He loved it here, the sea breath with salt and cold air flashing against his flank. Not many fly where around, not many bugs either. He loved the freedom he had with his own land. Of course it wasn't for sure hers now, but it will be soon enough. he hated the feeling of hopelessness he felt before he had a place to call his own but now, well now he felt like he belonged even if he didn't have not one herd member. Chuckling to himself, he lifted his hooves in more of a prance as he went towards the water. Lowering his muzzle he trusted it forward then back as if it sting. Then jumped backwards, and stilled. Listening to the whispers the wind told him, the whispers he wanted to believe but, well he couldn't.
[_x] A realization washed over him, like a wave of guilt. He couldn't be playing around like a colt. He had a duty now. He was gonna be a leader, a American cream draft leader. And he was proud but he couldn't be seen acting with such carelessness, he needed to be stern, careful, and watchful. he wouldn't have anything to do with playfulness. of course he would allow the youngen's to be playful but when it came to him, he figured it would be best if he stayed away from his playful, carefree self. Dropping his head towards the sand, he let out a powerful snort, which blew sand from his muzzle, as he moved into a powerful lope. Circling around the area, he let out a fear-striked scream, something which give you nightmares if in a attack, a scream which meant this land was no longer free.
[_x] Slidding to another stop, he reared up on his hind legs and gave three power trikes with his forelegs. He loved this, knowing he was now leader of Waters Edge- which was the new name of his land. Water's Edge. He gave a care-free buck and snorted. Who cares if they saw him in his care-free mood, right? He wasn't gonna be free of not caring for much longer if he gets his way so he might as well take it for granit, right? Give a firm node of his over sized crown, he broke into a gallop off into the sunset. Almost like a movie but yet not quite. there was so much more to his life then just claiming a piece of territory. Deep inside he hoped for the love of someone who would care about him, more then just a friend. Someone he care share all his worries with, someone who he could pass down his lienage to. Someone he could protect with such feelings it would scare him, and he wasn't scard easily.
